Meeker Save Me Live at Cream
Meeker performing "Save Me" Live at Cream Liverpool - Video directed and edited by Mox
Rachel Morrison - vocals | Tom E Morrison - Guitar and Loops | Marc Layton-Bennett Percussion
"Save Me" was released in 2000 on Underwater Records featuring the original Meeker Mix and the Futureshock SOS Mix.
In the year 2000, Rachel Morrison + Tom E Morrison created a tour de force called Meeker. The first 3 singles (Save Me, Mountains, Let's come together) were signed to independent UK Label Underwater, hit the top 5 of the UK Dance Charts and were played extensively on mainstream radio. These tracks were also compiled on Platinum selling Albums worldwide.
Touring UK Universities, Clubs and Major Festivals in the same line up with bands like Moby, Underworld, Primal Scream, Meeker won over crowds wherever they played.
"...they are poised for even greater greatness. Fusing traditional song values and sinuous, charged soul vocals with breaktech house "Mountains" adds a dash of personality to a particularly faceless scene."
NME
"Tom's bluesy guitar snakes beautifully around Rachel's gospelized vocal over Underworld-esque beats - One to watch for the millennium."
