Life After London – A Long-Overdue Update

It’s been a while since our last news post, so here’s a little update on what we’ve been up to.

In September 2023, Rachel and I made a big move after two decades of living and working in London. We swapped city life for fresh air and open skies, settling into a beautiful smallholding in an idyllic village in North Yorkshire. The sense of community here is amazing—creative, welcoming, and full of character.

Since moving in, we’ve been busy transforming the place. Two of the six old horse stables are now a fully functioning recording studio, and the large garage has become a cozy guesthouse for visiting friends, family, and collaborators. There’s still plenty to do around the main house (decorating never ends!) and the garden seems to grow a new to-do list every week—but we honestly love it. The slower pace of rural life suits us well, though we do dip back into the city now and then when we need a hit of that familiar buzz.

The studio has been up and running since last summer, and I’ve been lucky to work with some brilliant artists as well as on some exciting Film/TV projects.

More updates soon
